Wedding Photography Industry in China

Since the sub-loan crisis in 2008, the international economy has been of low benefit with depression in finance, real estate and other industries. But the wedding industry is an exception, being still flourishing. China serves as a good example. Thanks to 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, the Chinese wedding industry was developed to a new height. During the National Day and Mid-autumn Festival holidays in 2009, the wedding consumption in all the major cities in China was of good economic benefit. The year 2010 is a good year for wedding. Under such depressed economic circumstances, the wedding industry has become so important that domestic demands will be stimulated.

According to relevant statistics provided by the civil administration department, in Shanghai alone, the increase rate of husbands and wives getting marriage certificates every year conforms with that of the wedding industry development. Last year the total value of wedding consumption in our country amounted to 1.2 trillion Yuan (RMB). According to the estimation of professional personnel, the composite consumption capacity in China in 2011 will surpass that of 2010. The prospect for development should not be underestimated.
